We Did It! – The Great Wight Attack has raised over £25k for the Planets Charity & Southampton General Hospital, who can now look forward to the arrival of a new state of the art scanner to detect the signs of Pancreatic Cancer much much earlier.
Following on from the outstanding achievements of Dave, Martyn and the Team, the Charity Ball was a resounding success.
Hosted by comedian Mike Osman, the evening was enjoyed by everyone who attended – with audio-visual presentations, a choir, pacific island dancers, magician, great food, charity auctions and dancing, it was a perfect way to finish off the project and raise additional funds.
Our friends from Beau Photography in Southampton, have now uploaded the photographs from the event to their Flickr Photo Gallery Website – click here to go to our order form page which contains details of how to view and order your photo’s of the night.
Don’t forget though that cancer does not go away and you can still donate to the ongoing maintenance of the scanner by following the donation links around the site.
